This stylish house was built in 1873.  The Seewirt was completely redesigned in the years 2013 to 2014 and brought up to date with investments of over 2 million euros.  The entire operation is well thought out and very structured.   The catering business with kitchen is on the ground floor with an area of 545m². A large conservatory was built here directly on the lake, so that guests do not have to do without the proximity to the lake and the lake view even in autumn and winter. There is room for up to 133 guests in the guest room, up to 200 seats on the terrace/conservatory and a further 200 guests in the beer garden.  The kitchen is fully equipped and another kitchen for "prep work" or rinsing is in the basement.  With 2 large cold rooms & a freezer + other large refrigerators is sufficient storage space.  On the 1st floor there is a ballroom for other events or meetings and the view from the balcony is breathtaking.  The "landlord apartment" with 70m² is on the top floor.  The object includes not only a large stretch of beach, but also 2 kiosks that are currently dOperate a beer garden with self-service.  The logistics of getting to and from Lake Thumsee are also perfectly taken care of. There are approx. 35 parking spaces directly at the Seewirt, but you can also park on the access road along the road. And around the lake there are other parking spaces that are signposted. Directly at the entrance to the Seewirt there is also a  Bus stop, the Bad Reichenhall public utility bus runs here every hour. The location:

The Thumsee is about 5 km from the town of Bad Reichenhall.  It is the starting point for numerous hikes and mountain tours.  In summer it is one of the most popular and beautiful bathing lakes in Bavaria.  It is around 1000 meters long and around 325 meters wide.  Both joggers and mountain bikers meet here after their tours.  The Thumsee is also ideal for day trips, e.g.  Easy to reach from Munich or Salzburg directly via the A8.  Only 10 minutes from the Bad Reichenhall exit you are quickly on site.
