Welcome to the Schlosswirtschaft Maxlrain! The historic inn is part of a unique ensemble and is owned by Prince and Princess von Lobkowicz. The Schlosswirtschaft has been in good hands for decades and has always been leased long-term. The restaurant enjoys an excellent culinary reputation - in the immediate region and far beyond. The contract with our current tenant ends in May 2025, who wants to concentrate fully on the neighboring Bräustüberl in the future. That's why we are looking for someone who enjoys continuing this culinary heritage and enriching it with new creative ideas. The Schlosswirtschaft not only offers exquisite food and fine drinks, but also opportunities for celebrations, concerts and events with the unique ballroom - a place full of potential that is just waiting to be discovered and developed by you. Even an ambitious, well-trained chef has the opportunity to venture into self-employment with little capital investment and a lot of support from the brewery.

The location:

Maxlrain is a small, idyllically located place in the Rosenheim region, only about 2 km from Bad Aibling and with a wonderful view of the Alpine panorama. Maxlrain is characterized by its landmark, the baroque Maxlrain Castle, its award-winning private brewery and the adjacent golf course. Maxlrain enjoys a very good reputation as a place of Bavarian hospitality. In addition to the castle restaurant with traditional, upscale cuisine, the Maxlrainer Bräustüberl is also in the immediate vicinity.

Maxlrain is a well-known and popular destination for hikers and cyclists. A wide variety of events attract thousands of visitors every year, including many from Munich, from which the gastronomy also benefits greatly.​​

• Tenant's apartment on the 1st floor (approx. 80m²)
