The Schwarzwald Lodge Rothaus in Grafenhausen is a quiet all-suite hotel located at an altitude of approximately 1,000 m in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. The spacious suites (approximately 35–60 m²) each feature a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony or terrace. The hotel is located on the shores of Lake Schluchsee and directly adjacent to the Rothaus Brewery, renowned far beyond the region. The hotel grounds encompass approximately 5,000 m². Due to its proximity to Switzerland, many Swiss guests and companies also use the hotel. The hotel is currently leased until the end of 2025. The current tenant is retiring due to age. An earlier takeover is certainly conceivable.

The location:

Grafenhausen is located in the Black Forest, and the beautiful Schluchsee lake is just a 10-minute drive away. The Rothaus Brewery, renowned far beyond the region, its proximity to Switzerland, and the Feldberg mountain, which is only about a 20-minute drive away, make Grafenhausen a central location in the Black Forest.

The Black Forest has established itself as Germany's most successful tourism region, setting a historic record of 23.32 million overnight stays in 2024. Following the pandemic-related declines in 2020/2021, the region not only exceeded the pre-crisis level of 2019 by over 10%, but also set new standards for sustainable tourism in Germany.
