Bad Bellingen, with its municipalities of Rheinweiler, Bamlach, and Hertingen, has a total population of 5,147. Once a year, usually in July, the Festival of Lights takes place in the spa gardens.
The golf course is situated on a hill surrounded by vineyards, offering magnificent views across the silver ribbon of the Rhine, stretching all the way to neighboring Alsace. The city of Basel, Switzerland, is 24 km or 45 minutes away, Freiburg is 48 km or 41 minutes away, and Weil am Rhein, with its border crossing into Alsace, is 22 km or 24 minutes away.
The Black Forest begins in Schopfheim and Zell im Wiesental. The distance to the Feldberg pass is approximately 70 km.
