Avli - Passau

The Avli restaurant is located in the old town of Passau, at the end of the headland where the Danube and Inn flow together. Accordingly, there is a lot of public traffic here and the restaurant business generates high sales and profits. The restaurant is being handed over fully equipped. Most of the inventory is being sold, and a compensation is being charged for this and for the goodwill. The lease agreement still has a very long term (~ 3 years) and can optionally be extended for a further 5 years. The business is currently run as a GmbH and it makes sense to take over this GmbH. The rent is currently €5,500 (gross) including the ancillary costs, so very inexpensive compared to the sales achieved. The restaurant has a beer supply contract, but without a minimum order or the obligation to purchase wine from the brewery. On the upper floor there are 5 apartments that are currently rented for employees for €190 to €240 per apartment. The restaurant and most of the kitchen were completely refurbished in the summer of 2024. The business is currently run by 6 permanent employees and 7 temporary workers.

Passau is also called the 3-river city, where the Danube, Inn and Ilz flow together. This is unique in Germany. The proximity to the border with the Czech Republic and Austria offers many possibilities. Over 300,000 tourists visited the city in 2024 (source: City of Passau) and most of them stop by the Avli restaurant because the two rivers Danube and Inn and their play of colors can be seen there.
